Grow.

Just over the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge, The Medium Control Studio sits off the shores of Park Point. Offering a unique selection of apparel and decorative prints, the art and design of The Medium Control is created by designer Tommy Kronquist.

Referred by my colleague, Michelle Ruszat (Just a Chef's Daughter blogger), I visited the studio Friday morning. Here is what I discovered:

*The Medium Control Studio - Duluth, Minn.
After perusing the store (which I highly recommend doing) in search of art for my apartment, I found a 16x20 screen print that fits my style perfectly.

*Grow Something, Hand Screen Printed, 16x20.
According to the artist, this original design is, "dedicated to a love of farmers markets, a self-sustaining mentality and old farm logos."

What I take from it: The Medium Control logo at the bottom represents a beginning, a seed in this case - the key to life. From there, it grows in all different directions.
Aside from the symbolism, I love the idea of sustainability and organic living.

Live with intent.
Explore.
Grow.
